I'm ready.
It took me a while to get to this point, but I am so ready!
How do I know I'm ready? I'm counting the weeks until I can bring that new bundle of joy home.
If I calculated things correctly he/she should arrive around mid-June so that means the little "bean" will be nestled in for the 8-9 week gestational period sometime around next week. I am so excited!
Norah asked for a "girl" and that is our hope. The name is still up in the air maybe "Willa" maybe "Loula" - like with Norah's name, we'll just have to wait and see what she looks like. If a boy, "Louie" will be his name, already has been predetermined and agreed upon. Although I must say Donovan has other ideas - he thinks all boys should be named "Buzz".
Just in case you were wondering, I am not pregnant nor do I plan to ever be pregnant again. That ship has sailed.
I am talking about our puppy that is slated to arrive at our home in mid/late-June. I needed the full year to grieve over Zoey girl, I feel I did my due-diligence in that area. Zoey visited me in a dream and gave me a huge hug and what I take was her blessing to move on. It was a hug I miss so much from a furry friend. Although this new puppy will never hold a candle to Zoey, I'm so ready to snuggle up with a dog that want's to snuggle back. I'm ready to go for long walks and short runs again.
I'm finally mentally ready for 6 weeks of sleepless nights and for house training and puppy training.
I'm so ready.
Now we just have to wait for that call telling us the "bean" is baking!
